Our Process of Estate Planning

At Beiler Legal Services, we strongly believe that having a good plan for sudden or anticipated death or incapacity is a significant part of being a good steward of what God has given to us, and we are committed to helping our clients through this part of their stewardship journey. While each estate plan is different, and may require slightly different processes, our estate planning process generally consists of the following steps:

 

  1. Call us to schedule an appointment for an estate planning meeting, which can be at our office or at your home or business.

  2. We will send you a questionnaire for you to complete prior to the first meeting.

  3. At the first meeting we will review your information with you to ensure we understand your planning needs and goals. We can then recommend a specific plan for you, along with a flat fee quote to complete the plan.

  4. If you are satisfied with the proposed plan and fee quote, then we will prepare the plan for you.

  5. After your plan is prepared, we will have a signing ceremony where we will review the entire plan with you and help you legally execute the documents in your plan. This signing ceremony can be at our office or at your home or business.  

  6. Some plans will require one or more additional meetings before or after the signing ceremony, while others will not.
